Apata mi

Apata mi – My Rock

When all beneath my feet gave way,
And I had nothing left to say,
I found You underneath it all—
The Rock that would not let me fall.

When winds arose and waters came,
I held no strength, I spoke Your name.
And there beneath my trembling feet,
Your faithfulness and mercy meet.

When trouble comes and change feels long,
Behold my Rock—I’m standing on.
And there within my deepest need,
I found Your faithfulness indeed.

When I’m adrift out in the deep,
And there’s no ground beneath my feet,
Apata Mi, my Rock, my Stay—
He makes the seas be still, obey.

Though earth may shake and kingdoms fall,
You were, You are, the Rock of all.
Unmoved, unchanged, eternally—
My Rock, my Christ, Apata Mi.
