Curiosity came out to play, And wandered where it shouldn’t stray. It caught a spark, then chased a glance, And lingered there to test its chance.
What is hid behind those eyes? Curiosity must surmise. It searches every look for clues, And dreams of things it cannot prove.
It takes a glance that stayed too long, And wonders if it read it wrong. Then turns a moment, small and brief, Into a world of make-believe.
A passing glance becomes a scene, A world imagined in between. A thousand places it could go, A thousand things it wants to know.
Curiosity loves to play, And carries common sense away. No promises, no reason why— Just little castles in the sky.
